Email Counselling also works beautifully if you are house-bound for any reason, if you experience social difficulties or if you have hearing issues.

The benefits of Journalling are well-researched and documented.  One of the ways to deal with our emotions is to write them down to express ourselves. This helps to prioritise concerns, problems and fears. It also helps to distinguish between the three and find actionables to manage each of them. It helps to identify negative self-talk and provides an opportunity to change that. With Email Counselling, you will receive a therapeutic response that can bring more clarity and understanding to your own words.. 


  • Writing helps to organise and structure our mangled thoughts
  • Engage in therapy in your own private time
  • You are not bound by a day and time of the week to benefit from therapy
  • Accessible from wherever you are, even when you are lounging in the sand by the sea, simply staying warm by the fireplace at home or when exploring new places on holiday
  • Go over previous responses from the Counsellor and take the time to consider what you wish to explore now
  • You always have access to the entire communication including therapeutic resources shared along the journey

How email counselling works

Step 1: Use the Enquiry form to express your interest

Step 2: You will receive an Intake Form to fill out and a Consent Form to sign.

Step 3: Once the above documentation is completed, an invoice will be sent to you. This can be for individual sessions each week or multiple discounted sessions, whatever you opt for.

Step 4: Make Payment

Step 5: Send your email at a time that suits you. Recommended size: 500-1000 words, but there is no binding on this. Recommended frequency: weekly or fortnightly, but again you can take all the time you need.

Step 6: You will receive a therapeutic email response within 48 hours.


Please note that all email exchange will be conducted securely via an encrypted email provider.
